Home Renovations
Description of Work:
Unlike many other projects I have listed on this website, these came with a valuable lesson to be learned years after the fact... document anything you want to preserve. As you will find below, for whatever reason I was overly enthusiastic about beginning the renovation projects and they were well underway before I remembered to take photos. Also, due to other projects and work, I did not document the final product as well as I should have. Nonetheless, the results below are still fairly easy to see and I am very proud of the outcomes!
During my life so far I have picked up on many trades. From framing and concrete work to electrical and plumbing, I am able to complete any job that comes my way. I also take great pride in my work and pay attention to details that most people would overlook. All of my work gets completed with the most detail possible, all without inhibiting the ability to meet deadlines. The projects below are a perfect example of my skills; keep in mind I was still a teenager throughout the process of these renovations and have gained experience and further honed these skills since!
- Fresh water plumbing
- Sewage
- HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. (Includes heat pump systems)
- Gas line and fixture work
- Electrical (220v, 110v, and below AC and DC)
- Data wiring
- Framing
- Dry-walling and plastering
- Siding and limited masonry work
- Carpentry (Includes paneling, molding, windows, doors, etc)
- Tiling
- Priming and Painting
Below, I have included a chronological display of images from two of my favorite renovation projects. The first was the conversion of an outdated water and smoke damaged family room into an extra bedroom. The second set of images is the renovation of a bathroom which had a burst water line in an old tile shower. The walls had to be torn out down to the exterior of the house in addition to the sub-flooring needing removed and ceiling in the basement below.
