Spring Newsflash Year-to-Date Pictorial Review

As the 2013-2014 academic year came to a close I sat back and reflected on the opportunities awarded by my peers, professors, family, and those around me. If you are not already aware, this has been an absolutely crazy year to date, but I would not change anything. This academic year marked a grand achievement for many of my peers and I --the completion of Allegheny's senior Comprehensive Project. The approval and publishing of a full years research and development marked a grand milestone I can proudly look back on for years to come. For that same work, I was graciously awarded the Allegheny Student Chapter Prize in Computer Science for Exemplary Senior Thesis. Finally, as I wrapped up the academic year, I received a long awaited phone call that would determine the fate of my employment for the summer. Needless to say as I sit writing this from my personal third floor office in Oakland, the call went extremely well. I am now a proud employee (well intern, but we can only hope right?) at the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute. Here's to hoping that the rest of the year continues down this same path right into December's graduation!
